In February of 2013 I did a 14-day series on my blog called, “14 Days of Agape”, which was an in-depth look at 1 Corinthians 13. It was a defining moment for me in my Christian walk. You can say that it forever changed my life.
I had heard the Lord say to me to take the first 2 weeks of February and blog through 1 Corinthians 13. 1 Corinthians 13 + Valentines day = trite. Didn’t God know that?
Thousands of writers have been there and done that. But I couldn’t escape God’s voice.
Knowing that I had 13 days ahead of me, and not exactly wanting to commit to blogging for 14 days without a break, I tried to work ahead. But each time I tried to come up with something for the next day, I’d draw a blank. It was like the Israelites in the desert with mana. I had sufficient words for that day, and that day alone.
By the time I reached Valentine’s Day I had blogged every day that month without fail.
And I was so transformed by the series that I wanted more people to know about it, so I gathered up the blog posts and put them in a book.
That book has by far been the most popular book I’ve written.
I decided that this year I wanted to host a book club, because I have a deep desire to dig into that chapter again and revisit the amazing things the Lord spoke to me.
So, I have expanded 14 Days of Agape into a Bible Study and Workbook!
The book is available in the following formats:
Here is what others are saying about 14 Days of Agape:
If you want to get out of your self-centered life of taking more than giving, then “14 Days of Agape” is the book for you! This book teaches you how to love others the way God intended. It shows how the church is to truly be the Body of Christ. I now see 1 Corinthians 13 in a new light. Rosilind Jukic has taken the lessons God taught her and presented them to the reader in a beautiful way. – Lynnet
The author really digs in and challenges you to sincerely pursue Agape love. She takes what most people think Agape love is and peels away the surface to show what true Agape love is. – Heaven Bound
14 Days of Agape gave me a deeper understanding of 1 Corinthians 13! Over and over I was convicted and challenged by the truths Rosilind shared. I was encouraged as well, to strive to grow in learning how to love the Church body God’s way. – Laurie
