This year I have determined to be #present in 2015!
That’s my hashtag. Present will define 2015 and there are 5 books that will help me do this…
are you ready?
Here are 5 books that I plan to read in 2015 (and a few more that are on the stack)
1. The Best Yes – by Lysa TerKeurst
This is a book I am actually reading with a small group of bloggers. I am one chapter in already and loving it!
2. The Power of the Praying Wife – by Stormie Omartian
I have actually read this book twice already. But I want to read it again and really soak in all the ways I can bless my marriage by intentionally praying for my husband.
This book doesn’t release until March….but you can preorder it now! Yes you can. I have an advanced copy of the book for review and can’t wait to dive into it. Be sure to keep checking back for my review…and a giveaway!
4. The Strong-Willed Child – by Dr. James Dobson
Yep. I have two of ’em. And we are reaching critical mass around here, folks. I really do respect Dr. Dobson’s balanced and direct approach.
5. Messy Beautiful Love – by Darlene Schacht
Yet another book I’ve already read, and yet one I need to read again. This book changed my marriage, but there was so much there that I need to review it again and take my marriage to a new level in 2015.
Others on my stack are:
7 Classics on Prayer – by Andrew Murray, D.L. Moody, E.M. Bounds, R.A. Torrey, Jeanne Guyon & more
This book was given to me for Christmas and I can’t wait to dive into it and take my prayer life to a new depth of power.
Women Living Well – by Courtney Joseph
This is another one I’ve already read, but I need to read again. I am in a new place in marriage and motherhood. I know this book will speak to me in new ways.
A biography. I love biographies! I haven’t decided which one yet, but I have a few in mind.
What books are you reading in 2015?
