The place? Prague
My father and I were visiting Europe my senior year in high school. We spent a few days in Prague. We took one day to visit Wenceslaus Square, and at the precise moment we arrived someone else was about to visit as well.
(Prince Charles and Princess Diana)
We happened to be at the left end of the crowd. They were coming from the right. She came near me and turned to leave.
As we walked away my father was shaking his head saying, “Only you, only you would yell ‘Hey! You!’ to the future Queen of England.” I no longer cared so much. I was giddy! She had shaken my hand. All I could think was, “I am never washing this hand again!”
