I only wish it were so easy to resolve selfishness in a child so as to simply adjust their eating habits! But alas – food is not the culprit, it is the heart!
If we adjust behavior and never adjust the root of the behavior – the heart issue – then new bad behaviors will only spring up in their place.
4. We are not as concerned with what our children will do or be when they grow up as much as we want them to love and serve Jesus with all their hearts. If we succeed in that, they will live to fulfill the purpose He created them for.
And this is why we must learn to recognize each child’s needs, unique personality and giftings:
so we can effectively raise them to fulfill their destiny.
