We’re well into our first year of homeschooling as a second generation homeschool family. And it’s been so much fun this far.
My son is not yet 5, but he has shown such an interest in learning, that I felt it was important to take advantage of that thirst for knowledge start building on it.
Daily we do family devotions, learn about letters, do science, history, reading, math, journaling and music. He loves “going to school”
What makes homeschooling interesting is my 2nd born – our 3 year old. He loves school, too – so there is some demand for attention there.
I have learned that by including him, he is learning right alongside his older brother. He has learned his ABCs already can count to 10 in both English and Croatian.
So, this is a fun adventure, homeschooling with a toddler.
And now we come to fall with all of its lovely beauty!
This season is so fun for homeschooling, because of the holidays, smells, colors…it is just jam-packed with fun ideas to use for art, science, history and more.
