I am not a doctor, none of the information on any of these pages pertaining to the Ketogenic Diet or Adrenal Fatigue should be considered medical advice and should not replace the care of your personal physician. I am simply eager to share the information I have learned while on my own journey to health. Before you embark on this journey, please consult with your physician.

I would like to introduce you to my dear friend Amy Mahar. Amy and I have been friends for nearly tens years now, and just this spring she began blogging. I am so glad because her life and testimony as a homeschooling mom of 4, has been such an encouragement to me. I have learned so much from her. Where has the time gone, where is my priorities these days?  The days are hard and the hours long, but all of this has to be for God and His plan for me.  I don’t always see what is in store for me, but HE does!

What are you doing today to connect with someone one to one in growing your relationship with Christ together? Here are some ideas for how you can do that.

Being a wife, mother and friend is hard.  Its time consuming and draining, but it’s not the end all of my life.  God and His relationship is my all in all, and what I do for HIM is so much more important than meal planning, cleaning and laundry.

So this post isn’t how we can get out of doing these everyday things, but it’s to encourage us to find more time for God and make HIM leak out into all of these daily activities because that’s all we tend to think about.

To be mindful of HIM more and seek HIS good and glory in all.

I just started reading this book, One to One Bible Reading by David Helm, and here are some of my thoughts on it!  It’s a simple guide for every Christian to study God’s word and learn more from the Bible in a one-on-one setting!

This can be with another strong believer, or a weaker one, or a new one in the faith, or just anyone in your community that wants to know more about God.

This book encourages getting together weekly, for a set time, reading a set passage and answering a set of questions to learn on your own about who God is.  It’s a deeper way to grow with your family in Christ on a personal level.

The book lays out the questions to ask about each passage and gives you the framework needed to guide your study.  I want my time to be used to get to know my God and others around me.

I want my relationships to focus on God, and not get caught up in the busy-ness of them, or merely just survival of the time.

I am currently praying for the opportunity to start this kind of one to one Bible study. I don’t want to just jump into it, I want it to be for God!

In my free Building Healthy Friendships Mini Course, I take you on a journey through examining your friendships, learning how to put them in proper order, and even confronting the toxic friends in your life.

I am also praying about the Book of the Bible to study.  I want to be a light to all those around me and not just go through life because this is where I am.

Again I want to be more mindful of who God is in all areas of my day!

I have read a book with two dear friends, but want to grow even more with God’s Word.  I have been blessed getting together weekly with these ladies, and have a desire to continue this throughout my life as the Lord wills.

I encourage you to seek a one to one relationship with others in your church or community.  To build up your faith with confidence in Christ weekly.  Lets grow our faith together one chapter, one verse, one relationship at a time.

Praying for you now!

Pray for what you will learn from God, about who He is, and how He is to change you to be more like Him.

2 Timothy 3:16-17:  All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Time with God is always well spent!

I am also praying about doing this kind of study with my kids, one at a time, teaching them to study God’s Word.  I have been blessed in my adult life to do different Bible studies with my mother over the past year and a half, and I want this for my girls!

I am so thankful for the time spent in the Word, talking over what we have learned, or challenged by, encouraged with or just didn’t realize from before, and learned new about God.  Our relationship has grown with the bond of Christ!  I desire for that deep connection with my other friends in Christ!

I pray that more will become of my time for GOD, and for you as well!

I am a daughter of the King, excited to grow and learn more about my God in all areas of my life.  I am a wife to a man I have known for 26 years and we have been married for 10+ years, we have 4 children, and I homeschool, and love to cook healthy meals for them all! I started out writing about my life on Facebook, but wanted a place to expand and truly think more about God in my life. I am also a health-conscious, active person who wants to live it all for God’s glory!  I have been encouraged by friends to start this, so here I am 2017, a blogger!
