1 lb of ground beef
1 cup of bread crumbs
1 TB parsley flakes
1 chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste
1/3 cup of sauce (without mushrooms)
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 TB mustard
1 tsp horse radish
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 pkg of chopped sauteed mushrooms
Saute mushrooms and remove from pan.
In 1 TB of oil, fry meat patties and remove from pan. Drain the oil and add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan to loosen up the crispy leftovers. Add the sauce and heat thoroughly, adding water if needed.
Place steaks on a platter and spoon the sauce over.
Garlic mashed Potatoes
Peel potatoes and chop into very large chunks (or cook small potatoes whole). Slice approximately 7-10 cloves of garlic into long slices. and add to potatoes. Salt well and boil until soft. Remove from heat and drain excess water.
Before adding milk or butter, thoroughly mash potatoes. Add 1-2 TB of butter and enough milk to make potatoes fluffy. Beat well.
