“Well…. I sat down for a half an hour last night to relax, drink my smoothie and tune into one of my favorite shows…. 19 Kids and Counting! I do not watch my television anymore… so I do look forward to a mindless 30 minutes of relaxation. Although it was a tad relaxing, I as not prepared to walk away from my “relaxation” time with conviction in my heart.
I very much admire Michelle Duggar. And while… I do not believe it is God’s will for me to have 19 or even 10 children, I find her devotion to God, her family and motherhood amazing. During this episode, she and Jim Bob were in the midst of writing their latest book.”
A few weeks ago I ran across this blog post by Missy at Moments for Mommy. I was so taken by it that I asked if I might copy it here as a guest post. I found it convicting, challenging, and extremely thought provoking. It is certainly one I know I will re-read over and over again.
Please take a moment and read the rest of the article as Missy shares about a mommy’s distractions.
