I’ve often been very surprised at how many people can quote Bible verses who would readily admit that they are not Christians.
Amazingly, Bible verses often make their way in our everyday conversation, albeit sometimes not exactly in their proper context.
Take for example Matthew 7:1, “Judge not that you be not judged”.
How often do we hear that verse quoted, or even quote that verse ourselves without really understanding the proper definition of “judge” or the context in which Jesus made this command?
Below are 10 of the most popular Bible verses that you hear often, see often on coffee mugs and t-shirts, and may have even memorized as a kid at VBS!
