Do you need a gift idea for your prayer partner or secret sister? Maybe you’re looking for that perfect, meaningful gift for your pastor’s wife or small group leader.
If you’re like me, you like to find gifts that have meaning – that maybe small but touch the heart.
In this gift guide, you’ll find gift ideas for any occasion that are perfect for the prayer warrior.
I’ll be honest, some of these will be on my wish list this year. Some of them I already have and can tell you that they are amazing resources to help deepen a women’s prayer life.
Some of these items you’ll find right here in my store.
5 Gift Ideas for the Prayer Warrior
This year, give gifts that will help deepen your friend’s relationship with Jesus and that will continue to give into their life for eternity!
1. Books on prayer
This list of books range from resources for the woman who is just beginning to build a consistent prayer life (Prayer by Rosalind Rinker) to the woman who has a strong prayer life and is wanting to take it to the next level (Mighty Prevailing Prayer by Wesley L. Duewel), these books are sure to become staple textbooks in your friend’s library; being read over and over again.
2. A prayer journal
I love having a prayer journal.
In fact, I find it an essential part of my prayer life, because it helps me to organize the things I’m praying for.
Whether it’s the needs I’ve promised my friends I’d pray with them about, or it’s needs in my own family that I often forget to bring before the Lord, I find a prayer journal is a very important part of my daily life.
Also, it’s a great way to slow down, by writing out our prayers to the Lord.
I find that I often pray rote words day after day – without even thinking about what I’m saying. By journaling my prayers, I pray much slower and find that I’m far more thoughtful with my prayers.

3. Prayer Journal Tools and Gadgets
Okay – maybe these are essential.
I mean – the free Pokemon mug shoved way back in the corner of my cupboard will hold coffee just as well as these pretty ones do….but it’s just a lot more fun to drink coffee from a pretty mug that has the names of Jesus on it….or that reminds me to be still in Jesus’ presence.
Also I find it’s very helpful to have sticky notes next to me when I’m having my devotions, because inevitably I will suddenly remember several things that I forgot to do the day before….all of which are urgent and need doing right now!
So, I write them down…..which is much more fun to do with a pretty pen on colorful sticky notes.
Also, for the woman who likes to categorize things, having index cards and an index box is a great way to track prayer needs.
4. 30 Day Prayer Challenges
I began making these back in 2016, as I began to create these prayer challenges.
I began praying God’s Word – literally taking Scripture verses and praying them – and I began to see a great change in my life: in the way I lived and thought, and in the way I related to God’s Word.
In my store I have 15 different prayer challenge workbooks on different topics.
To use these workbooks, you will read the given verse or passage from the day and write out an observation about that verse or passage.
Then you will write out a prayer to the Lord, using the verse or passage for that day as a guide.

5. 7 Days To a Better Prayer Life Online Bible Study
Over the years I have tried many different methods of praying to help deepen my prayer life.
So often, I’d walk away from my devotional time feeling more like I’d just accomplished a task, and not like I’d just met with the King of kings.
I found this so disappointing.
I didn’t like feeling bored with my prayer life. I wanted my prayer life to be meaningful and deep.
And then one day I read The Lord’s Prayer from a whole new perspective: I stopped reading it like a prayer and read it like a formula for prayer.
It was revolutionary for me!
I sat down and mapped out a new prayer strategy, and what resulted from it was this Bible study based on the prayer that Jesus gave His disciples.
