Sometimes the wisest thing we can do is recognize when it’s time to stop fighting to keep something alive in the same way and start investing in what is growing.
I wish you the best of luck on Substack and I love your story and thank you for sharing. I am certainly very glad that I found you.
I keep hearing you tell me that it is ok to do less! I am working on finding which study guide helps me the most and sticking with it to use to as I take on reading the Bible cover to cover.
In the meanwhile I will gladly share you Substack and continue to support you!!
Thank you so much. You are so encouraging, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Yes, it is okay to do less. As they say, “Less is more” and sometimes more can have a counter-effect. Jesus said “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you….” not more work to do. But “REST” Refreshment. Peace. Stability inside…. I love it that He gives us rest. Calls us to rest. And teaches us to rest.
I look forward to you joining with us, my friend! Welcome!
I'm new to your content and am finding it perfect for me. For all the reasons you stated. I want a meaningful article, one that doesn't cause my brain to get distracted with scrolling or clicking to get all the information. I am grateful for all you do and following where God is leading you. Change is scary and it's a beautiful thing to look back and see you reached out for God's hand who was faithfully leading you! ❤️
Rejoicing with you and your ministry here on Substack! WIth all that has gone on with traditional blogging with Google and social media, I completely understand your decision.

Oh - I’m so glad. Yes - the ads always sort of made me feel sad.
Sort of like how Anne of Green Gables felt with the Rollings Reliable Baking Powder Company ad on her story 😂😂😂.
So glad I don’t have to feel that way anymore! Thanks to this wonderful place called Substack!
