Have you ever felt like you’re constantly falling short?
Maybe you feel like you should pray more, know your Bible better, be more patient, or simply have your life together.
Many Christian women live with a quiet sense of inadequacy. No matter how much they accomplish, they never quite feel like they’re enough.
The problem is that we often measure our worth by our performance.
When we’re having a good day, we feel valuable.
When we’re struggling, we feel like failures.
But Scripture points us to a different foundation.
Our identity is not rooted in what we do. It is rooted in what Christ has done.
Because of Jesus, we are forgiven, accepted, chosen, and loved. These truths do not change based on our latest success or failure.
When we begin to understand our identity in Christ, we stop striving for acceptance and begin living from acceptance.
Today, take a moment to ask yourself:
Am I measuring my worth by my performance or by what God says is true about me?
In this week’s video, I talk about one of the biggest misunderstandings Christian women have about their identity in Christ and why it affects every area of our lives.
